Fire Drill Fridays (FDF) began with a series of peaceful actions in our nation’s capital; when the pandemic hit, it pivoted to virtual shows and teach-ins. In 2024, during a crucial election year and decisive moment for our democracy and the planet, FDF evolves once again. Actor and activist, Jane Fonda, hosts the LAST virtual show where she and award-winning journalist and international best-selling author, Naomi Klein, unveil the next chapter for collective organizing, taking all that was learned as a community and channeling it into strategic, deeper action with Jane and Greenpeace USA.

Meet Naomi Klein

Naomi Klein is an award-winning journalist, columnist, and the international bestselling author of nine books published in over 35 languages including No Logo, The Shock Doctrine, This Changes Everything, No Is Not Enough, On Fire, and Doppelganger: A Trip into the Mirror World which was published in September 2023. She is a columnist for The Guardian and the Professor of Climate Justice and founding co-director of the Centre for Climate Justice at the University of British Columbia.
