Ebony Twilley Martin & William J. Barber III on the Interconnectedness of Racial & Environmental Justice

While Jane is away filming, this Fire Drill Friday is hosted by a profoundly inspiring young activist, Nalleli Cobo, who just last week was the winner of the prestigious Goldman Environmental Prize! Nalleli is joined by Greenpeace USA co-Executive Director Ebony Twilley Martin, and The Climate Reality Project’s Director of Climate and Environmental Justice, William J. Barber III, for an important conversation on the interconnectedness of racial and environmental justice. They’ll also be discussing the national march on Washington that Rev. Dr. Barber and the Poor People’s Campaign are planning for Juneteenth weekend aimed at igniting a Moral Revival to mobilize those directly impacted by injustice.
